A 1920’s family photograph featuring my grandmother and her sister in Cape Town
So what to do with all those albums and shoe boxes of old family photographs and thousands of digital images stored on floppy discs, CDs, hard drives and smart phones? As an editor and photographer I cannot leave the stuff forgotten, chucked up in the loft - basically junked. So the mission of this website is to present edited collections of pictures taken or collected by my grandfather and grandmother and other family collections. In addition, I present some of my own work shot while working for Reuters and my photographic work taken since my retirement in 2015. I envisage that the website will evolve adding and altering collections while increasingly moving towards projects that I initiate.
